Well if this works then the news posting system is working with the database nicely. Then dg will just need to finish the actual login box. :)

I don't know how many visitors this site gets, but anyway, I decided to post an update and keep everyone informed about what's going with the development of this page.

With the help of Grant and his php coding skills, we now have the channels page done. It lists the top 5 channels on the network with the live number of users that are on the channel. Also, the staff, rules, map and links page are finished, so feel free to browse the site and see what has been done. Also, with the help of Jeremy the image gallery is online so feel free to register and upload your images :D

We'll have more things added to the site this weekend, maybe the web based IRC client, if Jeremy has enough time to set it up.

So, it appears I managed to finish cutting and making the HTML file for the site. There is still a lot of content that has to be added on the site and a lot of stuff doesn't work (like for example the user's Log In box) but all will be done in time.

With some luck everything will be ready by the next weekend. If you have any suggestions please join me in #webdev so we talk about the site.
